Meet Nic-Nac, the Sparkle Suite Rep Assistant

What is Nic-Nac?

Nic-Nac is the assistant built into Sparkle Suite. Paying reps use it inside their workspace to handle everyday tasks, like adding a show, updating a Dance Floor listing or searching the jewelry database, just by asking. It's AI-powered, running on a third-party AI language model.

There's also a public version on the Sparkle Suite site, called Ask Nic-Nac, that answers visitors' questions about setup, pricing and fit.

What can Nic-Nac do for a rep?

Here's what Nic-Nac can do in your workspace today:

  • Shows. Add a show, update a show and list your upcoming shows.
  • Dance Floor. Add, update and restore Dance Floor listings, and help prepare dancer swap work.
  • Jewelry database. Search it for you.
  • Help. Find help resources when you're stuck.
  • Support. File a support report for you.
  • Your team. Manage your Join Team roster.
  • Settings. Change some of your site settings.

What do reps use Nic-Nac for most?

Mostly the busywork around shows and dancer swaps. Adding Dance Floor listings and updating shows are the top requests by far. That makes sense. Those are the things reps do over and over.

Who gets Nic-Nac?

Nic-Nac is included for paying Sparkle Suite reps. There's no separate add-on.

Does Nic-Nac see other reps' information?

No. Nic-Nac is built with a firm rule: it never works on another rep's or person's private data. It works on your workspace, for you.

The public Ask Nic-Nac on the website is even more limited. It uses public facts only. It has no access to any rep's private workspace and can't change anything.

What can't Nic-Nac do?

It can't do everything, and it isn't a person. It works on the tasks listed above. For anything else, you've still got me. Nic-Nac can file a support report so your question gets to me.

What is Ask Nic-Nac on the website?

If you're just checking out Sparkle Suite, you can ask Nic-Nac questions right on the site about setup, pricing and whether it's a fit. If it can't answer something, it can save your question for me.
