How to Onboard a New Bomb Party Rep on Your Team
How do I onboard a new rep on my Bomb Party team?
Give each new rep one private place to work through getting started, keep track of progress, and make questions easy to ask. In Sparkle Suite, that's a private onboarding link for each new team member, with progress tracking, and questions come straight to your Message Center.
For anything about Bomb Party itself, like signing up, company training or payouts, point new reps to Bomb Party's official resources. Sparkle Suite handles the organizing on your side.
Why does onboarding fall apart?
Usually because it's spread out. A welcome text here, a video link in a group chat there, a question buried in Messenger. The new rep doesn't know what to do next, and you don't know where things got stuck.
New reps who feel lost tend to go quiet. A clear path keeps them moving.
What is a private onboarding link?
When someone joins your team, you send a private link to that rep's own onboarding. The new rep can work through it at any pace and come back to it anytime.
It's private, too. Sending an onboarding link doesn't publish anything on your public Join Team page. A team member's card shows up publicly only if you choose to show it.
How do I track a new rep's progress?
The onboarding link tracks progress, so you can see how far along each new rep is without asking "did you do the thing yet?" every few days.
When you see someone has stalled, that's your cue to check in.
Where do new reps' questions go?
To your Message Center in your workspace. Instead of hunting through texts and DMs, onboarding questions land in one spot you already check.
What should a new rep do first?
That part is up to you and your team. Every leader runs things a little differently. A few things that tend to help:
- A quick welcome from you. Personal beats automated.
- One clear next step. Not ten.
- A first live to get excited about. Help get it on the calendar. See why posting show times grows your audience.
- Somewhere to ask questions. Your Message Center covers that.
How does onboarding fit with my team page?
They work together. Your public Join Team page is how people find you. The private onboarding link is what you hand them once they've joined. More on the public side in a Join my team page that recruits for you.
Quick answers
Is onboarding an extra cost? No. It's included with every active Sparkle Suite workspace.
Does a new rep's info go public? Not from the onboarding link. A private link doesn't publish a card on your Join Team page.
Does Sparkle Suite replace Bomb Party's training? No. Bomb Party's training and company resources come from Bomb Party. Sparkle Suite gives you tools to organize your own team.
